#117 James Tsitas: Missing his draft year to getting drafted 8 years later

James Tsitas is a current Gold Coast Suns Player heading into his 3rd season. He was drafted in the 2021 pre season draft which was 8 years after he missed his first draft in 2013. During those eight years he played for North Ballarat, Geelong VFL, and Woodville West Torrens. It included winning the best and fairest in 2017 and won the Magarey medal in 2021 for SANFL league medal. During this conversation we chat about what held him back from getting drafted early in his career and how he overcome that. We discuss his ambition to play AFL and how he managed that during those years he wasn't getting picked up in the draft.
