Scott Borlace is currently Head of Development at the Brisbane Lions Football Club. He was the academy and development coach prior to this role with the lions which followed a stint in the SANFL with Norwood Fc as a midfield coach. He played 10 years in the SANFL with Norwood. During this episode we discuss what are the keys to success in a head of development role and how it can be applied to local footy clubs. He discusses his key principals for better and more consistent footy, common coaching mistakes, AFL coach he admires (outside of Chris Fagan who comes up a lot with this question!), a player who exceeded expectations, favourite books and doco's and a heap more!
